Cam is Back, Tell Your Friends

As you can see our web cam is BACK. Picture quality tweaking is DONE. We very much enjoy providing our web users with a view of our community surf spot at 13th Avenue South in Surfside Beach, SC.

"The CAM is back!"

Last October our camera met it's demise due to a vicious nor'easter passing through. The cam sustained too much damage to repair ourselves. If you have any experience with customer service and technology repair you understand this is a long arduous process. We just recieved the camera back restored.

We are a small non-profit and money is tight this year. We're sending out a plea to our constituents to donate and help us keep the web cam up for your enjoyment. Thanks in advance for your contribution.

"We're gearing up for the most exciting year yet!"

The Guy Daniels Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our ocean and beaches. The foundation raises awarness through the sponsorship of the annual surfoff and related conservation and educational programs.  We are members of the South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations, the Surfrider Foundation, the Winyah Rivers Foundation, and the Clean Beach Council of America. The foundation focuses on education, beach preservation, and the sport of surfing.

The Guy Daniels Scholarship fund has awarded over $30,000.00 in scholarships to local students over the past three years. Download an application. We find it important to assist our local youth in achieving their educational goals and we facilitate this effort by making funds available for deserving students.
