The Guy Daniels Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our ocean and beaches. The foundation raises awarness through the sponsorship of the annual surfoff and related conservation and educational programs. We are members of the South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations, the Surfrider Foundation, the Winyah Rivers Foundation, and the Clean Beach Council of America. The foundation focuses on education, beach preservation, and the sport of surfing.
The Guy Daniels Scholarship fund has awarded over $45,000.00 in scholarships to local students over the past three years. Download an application. We find it important to assist our local youth in achieving their educational goals and we facilitate this effort by making funds available for deserving students.
