We serve as benefactor to our community through our Scholarship Program, providing financial aid each year to deserving youths in the Grand Strand area to assist with the college aspirations.
The most fun (and angst) we have each year is combing through the applications looking for individuals that show the greatest promise, embody our values of education + conservation and have shown they’ are walking the path to success.
The Guy Daniels Memorial Foundation Scholarship Program is a merit–based program that awards scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.
Every year, the foundation awards up to $10,000 in scholarships to deserving students. The scholarship can be used to cover tuition and other college–related expenses.
To be eligible, students must be entering their first year at an accredited college or university in the United States, have a satisfactory cumulative GPA, and demonstrate financial need.
The application process includes submitting this scholarship application, a current transcript, and a personal statement. Finalists are selected based on academic achievement, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and financial need.
