Guy Daniels Memorial Foundation Scholarship

The foundation helps Horry and Georgetown County students pay for college. Apply online. Your answers save as you go.

Apply by April 15, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.

Who can apply

You can apply if you live in Horry County or Georgetown County and you will be an undergraduate student in the coming school year.

The scholarship pays tuition, books, and course-related expenses. The foundation sends the money to your school for you.

You can renew the scholarship for up to 4 years in a row. Apply again each year to renew it.

What to have ready

  • An unofficial transcript. A PDF or a clear phone photo of a paper copy is fine.
  • A portrait photo of you. You can take one with your phone camera in the form.
  • Your story, 250 to 600 words.
  • A list of your academic honors and achievements.
  • A list of your community and school service.

By submitting this application, you agree that the Foundation may use your portrait photo and name in promotional material.

The foundation collects this information only to review scholarship applications. Only the scholarship committee sees it. The foundation never sells it.

The foundation deletes an application that does not win 12 months after the award decision.
